For sustainability, responsible banking, and global impact

Mashreq has advanced sustainability through its Climb2Change initiative, which focuses on environmental conservation and sustainable finance. The initiative included mountain clean-up operations in Nepal, Pakistan, and China, recycling waste and benefiting local businesses. Mashreq also sponsored COP27 and COP28, launched a climate banking platform with Visa, and transitioned to 100% recycled plastic credit cards. PepsiCo

For enhancing education and fostering inclusion

In collaboration with the PepsiCo Foundation, PepsiCo supports the Hope Bus initiative, empowering children in Iraq with elementary education. Since 2017, 630 children have benefitted from this program, with plans to expand its reach. Additionally, PepsiCo’s Tomooh Scholarship Program in Lebanon aids over 150 youth with disabilities, providing vocational training and promoting social integration. In Iraq, PepsiCo has partnered with Baghdad Business School to offer scholarships to youth pursuing business education. These initiatives reflect PepsiCo’s commitment to empowering youth, enhancing education, and fostering inclusion across the MENA region.
