Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, has unveiled an ambitious project worth nearly $300 million to revitalize the emirate’s Mahdub suburb.

The project includes establishing a housing development alongside a commercial center, a police and cultural club, the Victoria International School, and the Mahdub Government Nursery. Additionally, the project will include constructing electricity and gas stations to support the area’s infrastructure needs.

Al Qasimi emphasized that the project aligns with the vision for comprehensive educational, commercial, and recreational services and robust infrastructure to enhance the quality of life for families in the Mahdub suburb.

The properties planned for the new project will include ready-to-move-in residences designed to meet various requirements, including bedrooms, family areas, and outdoor spaces.

Additionally, the Sharjah ruler urged the government’s housing department to assist Sharjah citizens in facilitating the construction of homes within the new community.

“The work is being carried out according to plans drawn up in all regions of the emirate to meet all the needs of citizens for decent living, education, and scholarships for students to the highest levels,” noted Al Qasimi.

The Mahdub suburb encompasses the Al Qutaina and Al Shanof areas, comprising 6,200 plots of land.
