Building on this vision, HONOR announced the launch of the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR in collaboration with Porsche Design, reinforcing its commitment to AI-driven advancements and elevating consumer experiences in Saudi Arabia by 2025. 

HONOR’s collaboration with Porsche Design aims to blend high-performance technology with refined aesthetics. The partnership brings together advanced engineering and sleek design, resulting in smartphones that prioritize both innovation and style.

The latest release follows the success of the HONOR Magic V2 and PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic6 RSR, which saw strong demand in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. “Last year’s launches sold out quickly, driven by positive feedback and strong consumer interest,” she added.

HONOR’s collaboration with Porsche Design blends advanced AI with a refined aesthetic to create a more sophisticated smartphone experience. As AI becomes more integrated into daily life, it is enhancing how people engage with technology across education, entertainment, and work. Features like AI Magic Portal and AI Deepfake Detection are designed to offer practical, user-friendly solutions for everyday tasks.

The company emphasizes the importance of open collaboration, especially in the AI era. Diao adds, “We are glad to work with valued partners like Google, Qualcomm, and Microsoft to bring next-generation experiences to our users.” 

The latest HONOR devices come with AI features powered by Google Cloud, including Face-to-Face Translation and AI Eraser. The company is also introducing on-device AI tools like AI Magic Portal, which simplifies tasks by reducing multiple steps into a single swipe. When paired with services like Google Image Search and Google Maps, these features become even more intuitive.

MagicRing takes this a step further by enabling cross-device AI functionality, allowing smartphones and PCs to work together smoothly, even if they run on different operating systems.

INNOVATION AT ITS CORE

At the core of the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR is HONOR MagicOS 9.0, an upgraded operating system building on last year’s MagicOS 8.0. “Consumers can expect an even more seamless interaction with AI-infused features tailored to various scenarios, including entertainment, daily tasks, and communication,” she explained.

One of the standout features is AI Magic Portal, which allows users to engage with content more intuitively. “With AI Magic Portal, users can circle objects to instantly extract text and images, providing easy access to relevant services, including applications for transportation and shopping,” she noted.

AI also goes beyond just simplifying usage. It’s becoming an integral part of daily life, shaping how people learn, work, and stay entertained. With tools like AI Magic Portal and AI Deepfake Detection, HONOR is focusing on enhancing the smartphone experience, integrating AI in ways that respond to users’ evolving needs.

The HONOR Magic7 Pro includes AI Translation, offering real-time translations that break down language barriers. In a country like Saudi Arabia, where multiple languages and nationalities converge, this tool is a game-changer for both business and everyday communication. These advancements not only improve personal experiences but also shape the digital landscape for users across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

HONOR Notes also boosts productivity with AI transcription, summarization, and formatting tools, improving meeting efficiency and content organization.

ENHANCED AI PHOTOGRAPHY

The PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR introduces an upgraded AI photography experience, focusing on hardware advancements.

“Compared to the HONOR Magic7 Pro, this smartphone stands out in photography, specifically with a 200-megapixel telephoto camera featuring the industry’s largest aperture and a LiDAR matrix autofocus system, which provides better details in photography,” she noted.

The AI-powered photography enhancements include AI Super Zoom, AI Portrait Mode, and Stage Mode, which work together to harness the power of light and shadow, enhancing image details. Additionally, AI Motion Sensing Capture allows users to capture fast-moving subjects, ensuring clarity and sharpness in every shot.

THE AI STRATEGY 

HONOR has introduced a four-layered AI approach, the first of its kind in the industry, focusing on improving the consumer experience.
