Big 5 Global 2025 to spotlight $7 trillion in Middle East and Africa construction projects
Big 5 Global unites global experts and innovators to navigate MEASA’s historic $7 trillion urban development surge.

As the Middle East and Africa pursue a new wave of large-scale development, Big 5 Global, regarded as the region’s largest construction and urban development event, will return to Dubai World Trade Centre from November 24 to 27, 2025, for its 46th edition.
Supported by the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Dubai Civil Defence, Dubai Municipality, and the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Abu Dhabi, the event is expected to draw more than 2,800 exhibitors and over 85,000 professionals from across the construction sector. Covering design, engineering, smart cities, and sustainable building materials, Big 5 Global will focus on the technologies and strategies shaping the future of urban development.
The Middle East and Africa have more than $7 trillion in projects at the pre-construction stage, with landmark initiatives such as Saudi Vision 2030 and We the UAE 2031 driving urgency and scale in the sector. As governments focus on resilient infrastructure, sustainable buildings, and smart mobility, the region’s construction industry is evolving quickly and drawing global attention.
“The global construction sector is at a tipping point,” said Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President, Construction at dmg events. “The scale of urban development underway in the MEASA region is historic, but the pressure to deliver is just as significant. In this context of rapid development and expanding opportunity, Big 5 Global provides direct access to active projects, key stakeholders, and current industry insights, enabling the construction and urban development sector to navigate complexity with clarity.”
The 2025 edition will also include nine sector-focused events and more than 20 country pavilions, highlighting innovations from Germany, Italy, China, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom.
