The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) reported record employment and training outcomes in 2025, with its programs supporting the placement of more than 562,000 Saudi nationals in private sector roles—an increase of 29% compared with 2024.

The fund said total spending on training, empowerment, and mentorship programs exceeded $2.21 billion during the year, benefiting more than 2 million Saudi citizens. The investment was aimed at enhancing workforce readiness and better aligning skills with the needs of emerging and high-growth sectors.

HRDF Director General Turki Al-Jawini said the expansion of the fund’s programs reflects its focus on promoting sustainable employment and improving national workforce productivity. He attributed the rise in beneficiaries to the fund’s strategic transformation, which he said has strengthened its economic and social impact.

Al-Jawini added that these efforts contribute to building a diversified, knowledge-based economy, supported by advanced digital infrastructure and strategic partnerships designed to enhance the competitiveness of Saudi talent locally and globally.

The fund also reported that more than 226,000 establishments benefited from its services in 2025, marking a 27% increase year on year. Small, micro, and medium-sized enterprises accounted for nearly 94% of participating businesses.

In addition, HRDF signed 45 employment-linked training agreements across multiple sectors, reinforcing its role under Vision 2030 in supporting private sector growth and increasing the contribution of small and medium-sized enterprises to gross domestic product through investment in national talent.
