Azza AlSuwaidi is the Deputy CEO of Etihad Rail Mobility, where she plays a central role in shaping and leading the strategic and operational delivery of the UAE’s national passenger rail network. With more than a decade of experience in civil engineering and major rail and infrastructure projects, she is recognised as one of the UAE’s national leaders contributing to the development of one of the country’s most strategic transport initiatives.

Since joining Etihad Rail in 2019, AlSuwaidi has held several senior engineering and executive positions, supporting the expansion of the national rail network and overseeing complex projects from planning through execution. Her work has focused on strengthening governance frameworks, enhancing technical and operational standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and long-term sustainability.

In her current role, AlSuwaidi brings together engineering expertise and operational leadership to support the rollout of passenger rail services, working closely with stakeholders across government and industry.
