Deemah AlYahya is a Saudi technology leader who currently serves as Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) and sits on the board of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property. She has led the DCO since its establishment in 2021, overseeing efforts to promote international cooperation on digital economy policies, inclusion, and capacity building. Her career spans the public and private sectors.
She began her career as a software developer at Samba Financial Group and later worked at Tadawul, becoming one of the first women in technical roles at both institutions. She went on to hold senior positions at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Microsoft, where she focused on developer ecosystems, digital skills, and innovation programs across multiple regions. From 2016 to 2017, AlYahya led Saudi Arabia’s National Digital Transformation Unit, coordinating digital initiatives across government entities. She has also been involved in initiatives supporting digital skills, startups, and women in technology, and continues to advise on digital policy through regional and global platforms.
