Mariam Solika is the Founder and CEO of The Good News (TGN), a leading Arab-positive news platform she launched at 21 to reframe stories about the region’s youth, challenge stereotypes, and highlight voices often overlooked.

Through TGN, Mariam has connected more than 20,000 young people to learning and leadership opportunities. She has also showcased student projects and grassroots initiatives that are shaping the future. In addition, she has served as Youth Communications Consultant for COP27, COP28, and COP29, amplifying youth perspectives in global climate discussions.

She now serves on Egypt’s UN Youth Advisory Board, bridging digital media and policymaking to empower youth across the region.
