Sandeep Walia, the Chief Operating Officer for Marriott International in the Middle East, who has about 25 years of industry experience and joined Marriott International in 2005, has been a leading figure in the hospitality industry. With a career marked by a passion for operational excellence, Walia’s people-first, sustainability-oriented approach has helped to manage Marriott’s vast portfolio across the region, from Egypt to Turkey.

He has been responsible for the Middle East operations since 2021, including 230 operational hotels and resorts. Having worked across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, he has a global perspective on consumer landscapes and evolving needs.
