Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), which has been implementing plans and initiatives to advance research and development in innovative technologies and AI solutions while encouraging the application of technology-based solutions across vital sectors, announced plans to launch three new ventures focused on data security, autonomous mobility, and agtech.

The council’s commercialization arm, VentureOne, will oversee the launch later this year and introduce three innovative ventures to transform data security in the quantum era, smart autonomous mobility, and agtech with robotic technologies, which align with the emirate’s economic priorities.

These ventures will mark a significant step in translating pioneering research into products and services.

As part of its broader strategy, the ATRC has also unveiled the UAE Research Map, a comprehensive resource connecting researchers and institutions. The map has attracted significant interest, with over 2,000 visits in its first two months.

The announcement comes as the UAE continues its ascent in global technology rankings. The country’s recent leap to the top Arab spot on the UN Frontier Technologies Readiness Index highlights its growing influence in the sector.

The Technology Innovation Institute, a branch of the ATRC, continues to lead the way with groundbreaking research. Its recent unveiling of the Abu Dhabi Quantum Optical Ground Station marks a significant milestone in the region’s quantum technology landscape.
