Abu Dhabi unveils no-code AI platform and major green energy partnerships at GITEX 2025
AI-in-a-box, launched in partnership with UnifyApps, allows government employees to build and deploy AI applications without coding skills.

Abu Dhabi has unveiled a pioneering no-code “AI-in-a-box” platform that empowers every government employee to build AI solutions, alongside a major clean-energy partnership with Google Cloud EMEA, as the emirate pushes to become the world’s first AI-native government by 2027.
On day three of GITEX Global 2025, held at Dubai World Trade Centre, the Abu Dhabi Government, led by the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE), announced six strategic partnerships spanning sustainable energy, education, workforce training, and digital infrastructure, highlighting how cross-sector collaboration is driving its transformation journey.
Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of DGE, said, “We’re democratising AI across government. Every employee will soon have the tools to build intelligent solutions for their communities. Combined with our clean energy partnerships, we’re proving that sustainable innovation and digital transformation go hand in hand.”
The AI-in-a-box initiative, launched in partnership with UnifyApps, allows every Abu Dhabi Government employee to design and deploy AI applications without any coding expertise. Fully integrated with existing government systems, the platform is set to roll out across all entities by Q2 2026, transforming how public servants deliver services to citizens.
Supporting this effort, the Department of Government Enablement (DGE) announced new AI-skills partnerships with AWS and Oracle, introducing specialized cybersecurity and data-management training programs integrated with the Tomouh 2.0 leadership platform.
The Department of Energy (DOE) unveiled three collaborations aimed at powering Abu Dhabi’s AI transformation with sustainable infrastructure, directly supporting the emirate’s Net Zero 2050 ambitions while scaling digital capabilities. Through its partnership with Google Cloud, the DOE will deploy AI and machine learning to optimize renewable energy integration across the emirate’s power grid. SPACE42 will leverage advanced satellite imagery, geospatial AI, and IoT-driven solutions to enhance sustainable development, water management, and infrastructure monitoring across the region. Meanwhile, the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) will deploy advanced AI models to optimize energy policy, infrastructure planning, and operational efficiency across the sector.
The TAMM super-app also expanded, adding two new service categories and now offering over 1,100 integrated public and private services on a single platform. A new integration with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) allows users to access portfolios, real-time market data, and manage investor information directly through TAMM, while a partnership with Emirates Driving Company (EDC) introduces driver-training and licensing services.
