ADEED marks Abu Dhabi’s push into next-gen supply chains. Built for an unpredictable global trade environment
The platform uses AI to help businesses and government entities identify supply gaps and connect with the right trade and logistics partners.
The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), in collaboration with 7X, has launched ADEED, a national supply chain support platform designed to strengthen business continuity across Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE as regional trade conditions evolve.
The initiative is designed to enhance visibility across supply chains while supporting the seamless movement of critical materials and industrial inputs, helping safeguard trade flows and ensure production continuity.
Under the partnership, ADIO will leverage its market intelligence and business support capabilities, while 7X will deliver coordinated logistics solutions across air, land, and sea through its partner network.
ADEED brings together a network of strategic partners, including the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), Abu Dhabi Customs, and the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC). The collaboration is intended to strengthen coordination among trade, regulatory, and logistics functions, enabling faster, more effective responses to potential disruptions.
Within this framework, ADDED will support economic policy alignment and investment strategy, while Abu Dhabi Customs will oversee trade flows and address import-export challenges. ADQCC will focus on ensuring quality and reliability in alternative sourcing through standards and supplier validation, with 7X providing the underlying logistics infrastructure.
At its core, the platform integrates AI-driven insights to help businesses and government entities identify supply gaps, structure requests, and connect with relevant trade and logistics partners. Requests will be channeled through the ADCCI Trade Working Group, allowing for coordinated, ecosystem-wide responses.
The model combines ADIO’s role in facilitating supplier connections—both domestic and international—with 7X’s operational oversight of transport and logistics, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods.
Mohamed Ali Al Kamali, Chief of Industry and Trade at ADIO, said the platform will provide businesses with real-time insights and practical support to maintain supply chain continuity while contributing to Abu Dhabi’s economic growth.
Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, described ADEED as a model of public-private collaboration, delivering coordinated solutions to ensure uninterrupted trade flows and reinforce the UAE’s position as a global logistics hub.
ADIO added that it will continue working with industry stakeholders to support long-term growth and help businesses expand from Abu Dhabi into international markets.
