ADGM introduces performance-based broker ranking to strengthen property sector
Brokers will be placed into five categories based on three criteria: sales performance, professional education, and customer feedback.
The Registration Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market has launched a Broker Classification Initiative to enhance professionalism, transparency, and service standards in the real estate sector operating under its jurisdiction.
The framework introduces a tiered classification system for licensed real estate brokers, positioning them as strategic stakeholders in the development of ADGM’s property market. Brokers will be assessed and placed into five categories: General, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, based on three criteria: sales performance, professional education, and customer feedback.
According to ADGM, the initiative is designed to recognize high-performing brokers and encourage continuous improvement in skills, service delivery, and client experience, in line with international best practices.
H.E. Rashed Al Blooshi, Chief Executive Officer of ADGM’s Registration Authority, said the framework links performance metrics with incentives to strengthen market confidence and raise industry standards. “This initiative reflects our role as a proactive regulator and a business enabler,” he added.
ADGM introduced the initiative during a workshop held on 10 February 2026, bringing together licensed brokers to discuss its implementation, gather feedback, and align the framework with market expectations.
