The fifth edition of the Arab Meeting for Young Leaders is taking place in Dubai, with the participation of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

The meeting is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Families Affairs and Chairman of the Arab Youth Centre.

The program includes interactive sessions highlighting youth-led initiatives across development, innovation, creative industries, advanced technologies, and science, with a focus on translating individual ideas into sustained, long-term impact.

Youth achievements in leadership, innovation, science, and the creative economy are showcased through panel discussions, presentations by Arab Youth Centre alumni, and initiatives such as the Satellite 813 project and digital gaming ventures. Discussions centre on how early-stage ideas can evolve into institutional and regional impact.

In his remarks, Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Vice Chairman of the Arab Youth Centre, said the meeting reflects a shift from launching initiatives to measuring sustainable outcomes, underscoring the role of Arab youth in developing practical models for growth and development.

Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, described the meeting as an expanding platform for youth empowerment and skills development, taking place amid accelerating global change and increased competition among nations.

Fatima Al Hallami, CEO of the Arab Youth Centre, said the centre is working to align youth priorities with opportunities in leadership, innovation, and the new economy. She also announced the launch of the Arab Youth Leaders in the New Economy Program, aimed at preparing young leaders for economic transformation.

The event also includes the launch of the Arab Youth Space Hackathon, organised in collaboration with the UAE Space Agency and the Arab Space Cooperation Group.

The Arab Meeting for Young Leaders brings together policymakers, institutions, and youth leaders to exchange ideas, highlight best practices, and introduce regional initiatives focused on capacity-building, skills development, and ecosystem support.
