Bahraini youth shaping the nation’s global image, says Foreign Minister
The minister expressed pride in the achievements of Bahraini youth, attributing their success to royal and government support.

Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee, highlighted the pivotal role of Bahraini youth in driving the Kingdom’s growth and prosperity.
He stressed that their contributions reflect Bahrain’s broader vision for comprehensive and sustainable development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
On the occasion of Bahraini Youth Day, Dr. Al Zayani extended his congratulations to the Kingdom’s youth and praised their contributions to “Team Bahrain.” He recognized their vital role in driving national development and strengthening Bahrain’s position as a model for sustainable growth, human rights, and diplomacy rooted in peace, dialogue, and interfaith understanding.
The minister expressed pride in the accomplishments of Bahraini youth, crediting their success to the unwavering support of the leadership and government. He also acknowledged the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, for championing youth initiatives.
He highlighted key programs driving youth empowerment, including the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme, the Hope Fund, the King Hamad Award for Youth Empowerment, and the Hope Network—all of which promote leadership, innovation, and social responsibility among young people. He also highlighted the role of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence in engaging youth in peacebuilding and interfaith dialogue, helping to amplify Bahrain’s message of tolerance and coexistence on the global stage.
These efforts were further recognized by the United Nations through the adoption of the International Day of Peaceful Coexistence, a royal initiative led by Bahrain.
Dr. Al Zayani also commended young diplomats representing Bahrain abroad and reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to developing future leaders through the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies. He noted that youth empowerment remains a key pillar of national strategies, including the Government Programme (2023–2026), the Human Rights Plan (2022–2026), and Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
