Dubai Chambers convened a high-level meeting in collaboration with Dubai Customs and DP World to assess evolving logistics requirements across key sectors, as global trade conditions continue to shift. The session brought together around 100 private sector representatives from across the emirate.
Chaired by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, chairman of Dubai Chambers, the meeting was attended by senior officials including Abdulla Mohammed Busenad, director general of Dubai Customs; Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, president and CEO of Dubai Chambers; and Ahmad Yousef Al-Hassan, CEO and managing director of DP World GCC, alongside executives from major companies spanning multiple industries.
Discussions focused on the challenges facing the shipping and logistics sector amid ongoing regional developments, with participants examining practical measures to maintain the smooth flow of goods and improve supply chain efficiency. The session also highlighted the importance of coordination between public and private stakeholders in addressing disruptions and sustaining trade activity.
Al Mansoori said Dubai’s integrated logistics ecosystem continues to support business confidence, citing the role of government policies, institutional agility, and public-private collaboration in enabling companies to navigate external pressures. He noted that these factors have helped reinforce the emirate’s position as a global trade hub.
He added that Dubai Chambers remains focused on enhancing the competitiveness of companies operating in the emirate, emphasizing that strong partnerships between the public and private sectors are central to economic resilience and long-term growth. Ongoing coordination with relevant entities, he said, is aimed at delivering targeted support to safeguard business interests and strengthen sector readiness.
The meeting forms part of a broader series of engagements led by Dubai Chambers to evaluate market conditions, anticipate future trends, and refine strategies to support the private sector. These efforts aim to deepen understanding of sector-specific needs, address emerging challenges, and enable businesses to operate more efficiently in a rapidly evolving global environment.
