Dubai International Chamber attracted 261 foreign companies to the emirate during the first nine months of 2025 — a 65% increase compared to the same period last year.

The growth reflects the chamber’s continued drive to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for foreign direct investment. Of the new entrants, 44 were multinational firms, up from 40 a year earlier, while small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) accounted for 217, an 84% jump from 118 in 2024.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, chairman of Dubai International Chamber, said the organization remains committed to “attracting high-value foreign investment to Dubai, expanding the opportunities the emirate offers across key sectors, and reinforcing its pivotal role on the global trade and investment map in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).”

He added: “The chamber’s network of international offices serves as a key platform helping Dubai-based companies expand successfully into overseas markets, while also showcasing to global business communities the integrated competitive advantages that position Dubai as a leading international centre for trade and investment.”

These efforts align with the Dubai Global initiative, which aims to establish 50 international representative offices by 2030. As part of this strategy, the chamber opened five new offices this year in Dhaka, Cape Town, Bengaluru, Bangkok, and Toronto, bringing its total number of international offices to 31. These offices play a vital role in promoting Dubai as a global business hub, facilitating foreign direct investment, and supporting companies seeking to enter or expand in international markets.

Between January and September, the chamber’s overseas offices held 376 roundtable meetings to attract international businesses and position Dubai as a preferred gateway for global expansion. This network plays a strategic role in driving two-way investment flows and opening new trade corridors between Dubai and key global markets.

Additionally, the chamber’s international offices provide tailored guidance to foreign firms exploring opportunities in Dubai, helping them establish operations in the emirate and scale across emerging markets.
