Dubai launches AI-driven platforms to streamline government services
The initiative, approved in February 2025 comprises seven integrated platforms including Dubai Now, Invest in Dubai, Visit Dubai.

In a bold move to redefine digital governance, Dubai has launched the Shared Digital Channels Initiative—a city-wide transformation to consolidate government services into unified, user-centric platforms.
This strategic initiative, developed in collaboration with key government entities, simplifies access to services for residents, businesses, and visitors, further reinforcing Dubai’s ambition to become a global leader in digital service delivery.
Approved in February 2025 by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the initiative includes seven integrated platforms: Dubai Now, Invest in Dubai, Visit Dubai, and four others dedicated to transportation, justice, construction, and trade.
Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of The Executive Council of Dubai, said: “The ‘Shared Digital Channels’ initiative… reflects Dubai Government’s commitment to delivering a seamless, integrated digital experience… cementing the emirate’s status as a global hub for technology and innovation.”
Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), highlighted the mobility platform’s role: “The Shared Mobility Channel… ensures seamless access to all modes of transport… The new platform enhances the customer experience by providing streamlined access to both government and private sector services through a single, intuitive interface.”
Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General of the Department of Economy and Tourism, called the launch “a strategic leap forward ensuring that government services are not only world-class in functionality, but seamlessly integrated into daily life.”
Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, stated: “We are currently advancing the development of Shared Digital Channels guided by a well-defined roadmap… to simplify people’s lives and drive the digital economy.”
Powered by AI and data-driven systems, the initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, setting a new benchmark for digital service delivery.
