Dubai launches health-focused content creator program to boost digital storytelling
The initiative offers specialised training to help creators simplify medical topics, craft engaging stories, and boost public health awareness through quality digital content.

As digital media continues to play a vital role in public education and awareness—particularly in critical fields such as health and science—Dubai is taking proactive steps to ensure content creators are equipped to share accurate, engaging, and credible information. Aligned with the city’s vision to position itself as a hub for media innovation, the Dubai Press Club (DPC), in collaboration with Dubai Health, has launched the second phase of the Dubai Content Creators Program, dedicated to advancing health and science communication.
The initiative provides creators with advanced, specialized training, helping them simplify complex medical topics, craft compelling narratives, and enhance public health awareness through high-quality digital content.
“Dubai continues to invest in nurturing creative talent and placing media at the heart of its development strategies,” said Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club. “The latest phase of the ‘Dubai Content Creators Programme’, with a focus on health content, reflects our commitment to advancing a culture of professional, knowledge-based media.”
Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health and President of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, added: “We are proud to welcome the first group of participants to this pioneering program… to equip talented content creators with the skills to simplify complex medical and scientific information, present it credibly, and make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.”
Running until November 4, 2025, the program features hands-on workshops on digital storytelling, AI tools, short-form video production, and platform strategy. Delivered in collaboration with global platforms such as TikTok and YouTube, regional training institutions, and industry experts, the initiative aims to empower the next generation of responsible and impactful content creators in the UAE.
