Dubai has launched a new digital platform to bring its diverse community closer together through shared interests and activities. Introduced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, the MyDubai Communities platform invites residents, citizens, and visitors to join over 100 interest-based groups across the city.

Aimed at strengthening social bonds and fostering a sense of belonging, the initiative builds on the success of the original #MyDubai campaign launched in 2014, which celebrated everyday life in the emirate through social media.

The new platform, accessible via mydubaicommunities.com and featured on Instagram and TikTok, evolves that initiative, taking a more structured and interactive approach to community engagement.

Now reimagined for a more connected era, the platform, available at mydubaicommunities.com and featured on Instagram and TikTok, offers a more interactive and structured space for community engagement and storytelling.

From arts and culture to sports, wellness, and professional networking, MyDubai Communities offers access to a wide spectrum of interest groups—including communities for cyclists, book lovers, water sports enthusiasts, and women-led networks.

With a user-friendly interface, the platform makes it easy to discover, join, or even create a community in just a few minutes. It also features a dynamic calendar of events, from art workshops and running clubs to mother-focused meetups and cultural gatherings—serving as a central hub for residents to connect with like-minded individuals and engage in meaningful activities across the city.

Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, said the initiative is a key pillar of both the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. He emphasized that it reflects Dubai’s ongoing commitment to becoming one of the world’s top three cities for quality of life.

“The platform offers a seamless and inclusive gateway for individuals to actively explore, engage, and participate in diverse communities, symbolic of Dubai’s own multicultural and multi-experiential tapestry,” Almarri adds.
