EDGE, a global leader in advanced technology and defense, announced that its subsidiary, Beacon Red, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Presight AI, the UAE’s leading AI-driven big data analytics firm.

The agreement was formalized during LAAD Defence & Security 2025 at the Riocentro Exhibition & Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro.

The agreement aims to leverage Presight’s advanced AI and omni-analytics capabilities alongside Beacon Red’s mission-focused security expertise. The two companies will collaborate on high-impact projects in areas such as smart cities, digital transformation, and advanced security systems, with a particular focus on international markets, including Latin America.

Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, stated, “Through this partnership with Beacon Red, we are extending the frontier of Applied Intelligence to deliver secure, adaptable, and forward-thinking solutions. Our collaboration reflects the UAE’s commitment to responsible AI deployment and highlights the increasing role of technology in enabling resilient, secure, and sustainable communities – both locally and globally.”

Mauricio De Almeida, CEO of Beacon Red, said, “This collaboration with Presight will enable both companies to leverage their unique strengths, resulting in a comprehensive, integrated solution that helps businesses across industries optimize their operations, improve decision-making, and drive innovation.”

By merging AI-driven insights with cybersecurity expertise, the partnership boosts threat detection and infrastructure protection. It also supports Abu Dhabi’s smart city vision, with a focus on enhancing urban planning, public safety, and crisis response.

A joint committee will be established to identify strategic projects that apply AI to improve urban infrastructure and address key global challenges. The partnership represents a significant step toward shaping the future of digital transformation and security innovation on a global scale.
