FIVE Music, powered by Warner Music Group, aims to create chart-topping tracks from Dubai
With Warner Music Group, FIVE Music is looking to take things to the next level and strengthen its roster with fresh artists.
Looking to put music at the core of the business and play to each other’s strengths Dubai’s FIVE Hotels and Resorts has joined forces with industry powerhouse Warner Music Group (WMG) to expand its record label.
Regularly attracting top artistic talent from around the world to perform – FIVE Music, the entertainment brand, which has booked the likes of Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, Gordo, Lost Frequencies, and Joel Corry, among others, will make use of WMG’s worldwide network of talent, and bring its events to an international stage.
FIVE, which has established itself as a luxe leisure destination for travelers and adventure-seekers, understands emerging musical trends – organizing music writing camps with some of the finest artists and has invested in a music studio, is now looking to take things to the next level and strengthen its roster with fresh talents.
Talking about the partnership with the renowned global giant, Aloki Batra, CEO of FIVE Hospitality, says, “Music runs through FIVE’s DNA. This progressive partnership with the Warner Music Group is a natural collaborative evolution for FIVE.” Adding that through this deal, it aims to achieve “many ‘FIVE-styled’ chart-topping hits.”
The music industry is highly competitive, and asked what will set this apart, Batra says, “FIVE’s diverse audience is united over music; the multiple musical stylings and genres showcased at The Sound of FIVE reflect the current and upcoming trends in music.”
Batra adds that FIVE Music Studio will curate fresh music in-house for its music-loving, globetrotting audience to experience Skyline Fridays at The Penthouse to Bohemia at Beach by FIVE and beyond.
Through this promising partnership, FIVE also intends to nurture fresh, young artists worldwide – writers, musicians, and performers – in the state-of-the-art FIVE Music Studio at FIVE Palm Jumeirah. “FIVE Music aims to create chart-topping tracks from Dubai while being powered by WMG’s repertoire of A-list artists and distributed through their worldwide network.”
FIVE already had top Warner artists, such as Robin Schulz and Joel Corry, with residencies in Dubai. The entertainment brand has also introduced music camps at FIVE Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, with appearances from Schulz, Space Motion, Franky Wah, Alle Farben, and Trey Songz, along with renowned writers such as KIDDO, Bully Songs, Gez O’Connell joining the collaborative in creating the Sound of FIVE.
“We also plan to provide resources and support to local talent and grow our long-term talent partnerships while helping them reach their full potential to create their music at FIVE, perform at FIVE, and around the world,” says Batra.
