As global demand for healthcare innovation accelerates, Abu Dhabi is positioning itself at the forefront of scientific and technological breakthroughs in life sciences. In a strategic move to strengthen its role as a global health innovation hub, Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s leading global tech ecosystem has launched Hub71+ Life Sciences, a dedicated platform designed to fast-track innovation across BioTech, MedTech, and digital health.

Announced during Hub71’s annual Impact Event, the new ecosystem gives startup founders unparalleled access to Abu Dhabi’s integrated healthcare network, including regulators, hospitals, investors, and industry partners. The initiative supports startups from early-stage clinical validation through to commercialization, helping translate scientific advancements into real-world patient outcomes and viable business ventures.

The ecosystem is being launched in close coordination with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE), and the HELM cluster by ADIO, with additional support from Anchor Partners such as Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority. These organizations are working together to foster a robust life sciences economy in the region.

With 12 founding and anchor partners involved, Hub71+ Life Sciences becomes the latest in a series of specialist ecosystems from Hub71, alongside Digital Assets, ClimateTech, and AI—reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s emergence as a major innovation and startup capital in the MENA region.
