IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed an agreement for a new Vignette Collection property that will be the tallest all-hotel tower in the world. The Ciel Vignette Collection will be in Dubai Marina and is scheduled to open in 2025.

The Ciel will be owned by The First Group and managed by The First Group Hospitality. It will be a multi-storey high-rise hotel with over 80 floors.

Construction on this landmark project has already begun and will include 1,000 rooms and suites, three restaurants, Dubai’s highest infinity pool, a fitness center, a spa, a club lounge, and an observation bar and lounge.

Ciel represents The First Group’s largest and most complex development, winning seven major awards, including the International Property Awards for Best International Hotel Architecture and Best High-Rise Architecture in Arabia.

“We launched Vignette Collection in December 2021 and have since seen it rapidly grow into an established Collection brand with more than 2300 rooms open across eleven properties,” said Haitham Mattar, managing director, India, Middle East & Africa at IHG Hotels & Resorts.

“Today, in signing what will on completion be the world’s tallest all-hotel tower, is a testament to our expanding luxury and lifestyle portfolio in the Middle East, and our commitment to offer our guests something truly special,” he added.

Becoming part of the Vignette Collection will link Ciel to IHG’s global network and loyalty program, IHG One Rewards, enhancing its appeal to international travelers in Dubai.
