In its inaugural year, the Innovation by Design Summit made a significant impact, bringing together a diverse group of designers, architects, industry leaders, and visionaries to explore the transformative power of design. Held at Qatar’s Doha Design District, the summit sparked insightful conversations and inspired businesses to embrace innovation through design.

Panels explored the intersection of sustainability and technology, focusing on how AI expands creative possibilities, how global design trends can blend with local cultural values and the transformative role of design in addressing pressing issues like sustainability and social equality. 

The event concluded with the Msheireb Innovation in Design Awards, celebrating pioneers who have shaped today’s society through creativity.

Now, the second edition of Innovation by Design Summit is set to raise the stakes and push the boundaries of what design-driven innovation can achieve. 

On May 21, 2025, Fast Company Middle East, in partnership with Msheireb Properties, will gather leading voices from business, technology, entertainment, architecture, and design in Doha to explore how design shapes the future.
