As global cities compete to attract international investment, Dubai continues to innovate its business landscape with the launch of the One Freezone Passport, a pioneering initiative by the Dubai Free Zones Council (DFZC). Designed to simplify companies’ operations, the initiative allows businesses to operate across multiple free zones in the emirate under a single licence, removing barriers and accelerating expansion.

This move supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double the size of Dubai’s economy and position it among the world’s top business destinations.

In a major endorsement of the initiative, luxury fashion giant Louis Vuitton has become the first company to benefit from the One Freezone Passport. The brand will continue warehouse operations at Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) while opening a corporate office at One Za’abeel within the Dubai World Trade Centre Free Zone (DWTC Free Zone). The licensing process was completed in just five days.

Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, Assistant Secretary General at DFZC, said, “The One Freezone Passport is a transformative initiative that cements Dubai’s position as a global economic powerhouse… The swift and successful onboarding of Louis Vuitton through this program exemplifies the efficiency and attractiveness of Dubai’s regulatory framework.”
