M360 2024 in Qatar to explore AI, 5G, and the future of digital transformation

The GSMA has officially opened registration for M360 MENA 2024, a premier event for the mobile industry in the MENA region. Set to take place from November 18-19 at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel in Doha, Qatar, the event will gather top executives, policymakers, and technology leaders for two days of in-depth discussions and debates.

Hosted by Ooredoo and in partnership with Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, M360 MENA 2024 will focus on mobile technology’s transformative impact on economies and societies throughout the region.

The event’s agenda will emphasize industry-wide collaboration, focusing on AI, 5G, and digital infrastructure innovations, all critical in reshaping businesses and promoting digital inclusion.

M360 MENA will begin with an Opening Ceremony featuring Qatar’s Minister of Communications, H.E. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, alongside GSMA’s Head of MENA, Jawad Abbassi, and Ooredoo Group CEO, Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo.

Keynote speeches from H.E. Al Mannai, GSMA Director General Mats Granryd, and Ooredoo Qatar CEO Sheikh Ali Bin Jabor Al Thani will delve into the roles of 5G, AI, and the API economy in driving the region’s digital transformation.

The event will feature industry leaders, including Andrew Dunnett from e&, Erol Ozguner from Istanbul Municipality, and others, alongside exhibitors such as China Mobile and Comarch.

Commenting on the event, Al Mannai said, “Digital transformation is vital to Qatar’s development strategy. With mobile advancements and regional collaboration, we aim to build a resilient digital infrastructure that drives sustainable growth and enhances the quality of life for our citizens. M360 MENA is a crucial platform for exchanging insights, forming digital partnerships, and accelerating innovative technology adoption.”

GSMA Director General Mats Granryd noted that Doha hosting M360 MENA marks a significant milestone for the region, adding: “This event will showcase the transformative power of mobile technology across industries, highlighting innovations in AI, 5G, and digital infrastructure.”

Sheikh Ali Bin Jabor Al Thani emphasized that the event underscores the region’s rising influence as a global digital hub, reflecting Ooredoo’s dedication to fostering innovation, advancing digital infrastructure, and championing digital inclusion.
