New Future Leaders initiative to strengthen Qatar’s education system by 2030
The program aims to build Qatar's second tier of education leadership through high-quality, structured training.

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen education leadership and support Qatar National Vision 2030, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has launched the ‘Future Leaders’ program in partnership with the international leadership firm FranklinCovey.
Led by the Ministry’s Training and Development Center, the initiative aims to prepare a new generation of Qatari educational leaders equipped to shape and advance the national education system. The program was introduced during an orientation session in Doha attended by educators and selected trainees.
According to a statement from MoEHE, the program represents a strategic step to develop national talent by cultivating leadership and administrative skills in line with Qatar’s broader development goals. It focuses on building a second tier of leadership through high-quality, structured training.
The Ministry described the program as a pilot initiative designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience grounded in international best practices. It is tailored to Qatar’s educational and cultural context and aligned with national professional standards.
The program follows a structured model encompassing analysis, design, application, and evaluation. Its curriculum emphasizes transformative leadership, encourages data-driven decision-making, and fosters a culture of continuous innovation and improvement within educational environments.
MoEHE also highlighted that FranklinCovey is one of the world’s leading firms in leadership development and corporate training. It has a strong international track record of partnering with educational institutions—from schools to universities—and delivering programs with measurable, lasting impact.
The Ministry emphasized that launching this program highlights its commitment to adopting world-class strategies for developing future leaders. It represents a key step in building a progressive education system capable of meeting future challenges and driving positive change, fully aligned with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
