NTSC uses advanced tech to modernize transportation safety in Saudi Arabia
This initiative is part of the NTSC’s broader strategy to leverage cutting-edge technologies and align with the transportation safety objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.

In a significant step toward modernizing transportation safety in Saudi Arabia, the National Transportation Safety Center (NTSC) is adopting advanced technologies to improve accident investigations. This move reflects the Kingdom’s broader push for innovation and safety in line with national development goals.
The NTSC has announced the integration of smart technologies into its investigation processes, aiming to enhance the effectiveness and accuracy of accident analysis across all modes of transport.
Among the key technologies being adopted is 3D scanning, which the center has identified as a major advancement. This tool enables investigative teams to document accident scenes accurately, determine vehicle positions, and capture detailed environmental data around crash sites.
According to the center, this innovation “enables the reconstruction of the accident site using 3D models with high accuracy and reliability, contributing to a more professional analysis of the causes and circumstances, and providing accurate information to decision-makers and stakeholders in the transportation and safety sectors.”
This initiative is part of the NTSC’s broader strategy to leverage advanced technologies and strengthen the national safety framework, which is in line with the transportation safety objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.
The NTSC is a Saudi organization committed to improving transport safety standards and conducting thorough investigations into transportation-related accidents.
