Oracle announces new innovation hub in Abu Dhabi
The Al Mustaqbal Oracle Innovation Hub will encourage original concepts supporting the digital future
Over the past few years, many public and private sector executives from the UAE and other countries, have visited Oracle’s Zayed Innovation Hub in Dubai for training, mentorship sessions, and cooperative explorations of creative concepts.
To promote digital innovation and expand the Emirate’s knowledge economy, Oracle has now introduced an innovation hub in Abu Dhabi. It is the company’s second innovation hub in the UAE.
The new “Al Mustaqbal Oracle Innovation Hub” facility, situated in Oracle’s Abu Dhabi office on Al Reem Island, will serve as a platform for Abu Dhabi’s public sector organizations, Oracle customers, and partners to better comprehend the possibilities of emerging technologies.
Inaugurated by Dr Mohamed Abdelhameed Al Askar, director-general of the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, the innovation center will provide training and skill upgrading programs in the latest digital technologies for students, business owners, and women in tech in Abu Dhabi.
“The Oracle Innovation Hub is an ongoing commitment towards creating an enabling ecosystem for the youth to succeed and contribute to the growth of the digital economy. We look forward to seeing the newly inaugurated hub as a platform for organizations across public and private sectors, including SMBs, to accelerate their digital transformation,” Dr Al Askar said.
“The Al Mustaqbal Oracle Innovation Hub is designed to serve as a center for the exploration of growth possibilities achievable with the latest cloud technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and the internet of things,” said Leopoldo Boado Lama, senior vice president – Business Applications, ECEMEA at Oracle.
