AIREV and Qualcomm team up to scale sovereign and agentic AI in the UAE

Abu Dhabi-based AIREV has entered into a strategic agreement with Qualcomm Technologies to expand the deployment of sovereign and agentic AI across enterprise and government environments.

Under the agreement, AIREV’s OnDemand autonomous AI platform will be integrated with Qualcomm Dragonwing products, including the Qualcomm Dragonwing AI On-Prem Appliance. The integration will allow organizations to deploy AI agents where their data resides, including on-premises infrastructure and devices, without requiring a mandatory cloud connection.

The partnership will also establish a foundation for further integration of AIREV’s technology across Qualcomm-powered environments.

“As well as attracting the world’s best technology services, the UAE is now creating and exporting them, providing the latest evidence of the positive journey of the UAE’s AI sector,” said Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister for Foreign Trade and Chairman of AIREV.

“Together with Qualcomm, AIREV creates a first in the region by combining chip technology, hardware preloading, and registration into the US market as part of an integrated and mutually reinforcing business strategy,” he added.

AIREV’s OnDemand is a no- and low-code operating system that allows users to build, deploy, and manage autonomous AI agents. Designed to operate without mandatory cloud dependency, it can run in sovereign data centers, on corporate servers, or directly on devices.

The platform currently serves more than four million users globally and provides over 300 specialized AI agents across more than 50 languages.

AIREV said its products processed 6.8 trillion tokens during the second quarter of 2026, roughly six times the volume recorded a year earlier. According to the company, this represents one of the highest throughput volumes recorded by a UAE-based AI platform.

The integration with Qualcomm Dragonwing products is designed to give enterprises and governments access to AI agents that can operate regardless of where their data is stored. The companies say this can support secure and sovereign AI deployments while extending agentic AI capabilities across environments powered by Qualcomm technology.

Qualcomm Technologies provides technology used across enterprise, public and critical infrastructure, consumer, and industrial environments.

Wassim Chourbaji, Senior Vice President and President Europe, Middle East and Africa at Qualcomm Technologies, said bringing the OnDemand platform to Qualcomm Dragonwing products would expand how enterprises and governments can deploy AI agents.
