Qatar to host first Middle East edition of Mobile World Congress in 2025

The inaugural Middle Eastern edition of the GSMA’s flagship mobile technology event, MWC25 Doha, will take place on November 25–26, 2025, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
Preparations are underway, with the event being organized in close collaboration between the GSMA and Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
MWC25 Doha will bring together technology leaders, policymakers, and innovators to explore the advancement of digital societies in the Middle East. Featuring exhibitions, startup showcases, thought leadership sessions, and policy discussions, the event aims to be a dynamic platform where innovation meets execution.
Speaking at the Qatar Economic Forum 2025, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani emphasized that MWC25 will strengthen Qatar’s position in global digital collaboration and promote the exchange of transformative technologies among international stakeholders. He also underscored the strategic significance of Doha hosting the event for the next five years.
Set against the backdrop of Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030 and National Vision 2030, MWC25 Doha aims to foster partnerships and accelerate progress across regional and global technology ecosystems. Conference tracks and keynote sessions will revolve around three central themes: AI Nexus, Intelligent Economies, and Connected Industries.
High-level summits will delve into critical topics such as AI, 5G, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, fintech, IoT, and smart mobility, establishing MWC25 Doha as a key platform for shaping the future of digital innovation.
