Qatar to host MWC Doha 2025, showcasing AI, 5G, and smart mobility
The announcement marks the beginning of a five-year partnership between the GSMA and Qatar's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

The GSMA and the State of Qatar have unveiled MWC Doha, a new edition of the prestigious Mobile World Congress, set to take place on November 25-26, 2025.
The first-ever MWC25 Doha will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. It will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to shape the future of digital societies in the Middle East. Aligned with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, the event will spotlight technological advancements, foster collaboration, and drive industry growth.
“The State of Qatar has established itself as a premier destination for global summits and conferences in the ICT sector, and hosting MWC25 further reinforces this position,” said H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Qatar. He emphasized the event’s role in fostering a thriving digital economy and a sustainable digital society.
GSMA Ltd.’s CEO, John Hoffman, expressed enthusiasm for the new event, stating, “The world’s largest and most influential connectivity event is coming to Doha! We are delighted to welcome MWC25 Doha to our world-renowned MWC Series.”
