Ras Al Khaimah emerges as UAE’s fastest-growing real estate market
The data shows mortgage transactions now lead the market, marking a shift toward structured financing and end-user ownership.

Ras Al Khaimah is rapidly emerging as one of the UAE’s most dynamic real estate markets, fueled by strategic development, growing investor confidence, and rising demand for quality housing. The emirate’s transformation is not only reshaping its skyline but also redefining the regional property sector.
New data from the Ras Al Khaimah Statistics Centre, based on figures from the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, shows a remarkable surge in real estate activity. Property transactions reached $3.56 billion in Q1 2025, up from just $370 million in Q1 2017—an increase of more than eightfold over eight years.
“This level of expansion is transformational. A nearly ninefold increase in real estate activity reflects a market that has moved far beyond speculation,” said Andrei Charapenak, CEO of Major Developments.
“Buyers and investors today are looking for stability, infrastructure, and long-term value—and they’re finding that in Ras Al Khaimah. “At Major Developments, we’ve been committed to delivering distinctive, high-quality projects that match this momentum—homes that offer lifestyle quality, investment resilience, and financing accessibility.”
The data also shows that mortgage transactions now represent the largest share of the market, reflecting a shift toward structured financing and a more end-user-driven landscape.
This growth aligns closely with Ras Al Khaimah’s broader development objectives, which include expanding the tourism sector, diversifying the economy, upgrading infrastructure, and improving regulatory efficiency.
Major Developments is responding to these trends by offering housing solutions that combine modern design, long-term livability, and affordability, meeting the rising demand for homeownership and enhanced quality of life.
As the emirate continues its upward trajectory, Ras Al Khaimah is setting a new benchmark for sustainable real estate growth in the region.
