Saudi Arabia secured $173 billion in new investments across tourism, technology, and energy, led by the Biban forum, TOURISE Summit, and FII, reinforcing its Vision 2030 growth agenda.
Saudi Arabia recorded $173 billion in investment commitments across key sectors in early November, driven by major announcements at the Biban forum, the inaugural TOURISE Summit and the Future Investment Initiative (FII).
The Biban forum, themed “Global Destination for Opportunities,” attracted over 100,000 visitors and resulted in agreements exceeding SR 38 billion ($10 billion), according to the Saudi Press Agency. Nearly 50 startups from South Korea participated, reflecting the growing international interest in the Kingdom’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
At the same time, the first edition of the TOURISE Summit secured $113 billion in tourism-related investments. Commitments came from global and regional companies, including Melia Hotels, BWH Hotels, GOCO Hospitality, Cenomi, Radisson, Earth Hotels, Delonix and Ocean Link. The summit strengthened Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a leading global tourism destination, with a target of attracting 150 million visitors by 2030.
The ninth Future Investment Initiative added more than $50 billion in deals and pledges across artificial intelligence, renewable energy, infrastructure and advanced technologies. Since its launch, FII has facilitated over $250 billion in cumulative investments, reinforcing the Kingdom’s status as a global investment hub.
Elsewhere, the General Authority for Military Industries reported that localization of defense spending reached 24.89 percent, advancing toward the Vision 2030 target of 50 percent.
In energy, Saudi Aramco reported third-quarter 2025 adjusted net income of $28 billion, slightly higher than $27.7 billion a year earlier, while raising its 2030 gas production target to 80 percent above 2021 levels, equivalent to around 6 million barrels of oil equivalent per day.
