Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince reveals NEOM’s first luxury island resort
The island resort will have an 86-berth marina, luxury serviced apartments, ultra-premium hotel rooms, and a golf course
Touted as an exclusive gateway to the Red Sea offering bespoke experiences, NEOM’s first luxury island destination Sindalah is set to boost Saudi Arabia’s tourism industry, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
“This is another significant moment for NEOM and a major step in the kingdom realizing its tourism ambitions under Vision 2030,” said Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
“It will be a destination where travelers can experience the true beauty of NEOM and Saudi Arabia, above and below the water, making Sindalah the future of luxury travel,” added the Crown Prince, who is also the chairman of NEOM’s Board of Directors.
Extending over an area of approximately 840,000 square meters, Sindalah is expected to start welcoming guests in early 2024, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The island resort will have an 86-berth marina for opulent superyachts, 333 luxury serviced apartments, 413 ultra-premium hotel rooms, and a golf course, according to the announcement. Other attractions in Sindalah include a luxe beach club, a yacht club, and 38 unique culinary offerings.
NEOM is one of the most important projects supporting the country’s tourism strategy. The Line, Trojena, a popular mountain resort city, and Oxagon, an industrial and innovation city, are three other major projects currently under construction in NEOM.
