The Saudi Ministry of Interior recently announced that over 28 million unified digital identities have been issued through its Absher platform, enabling Saudi citizens and residents to access a range of government services.

These digital identities grant users access to services on the Absher Individuals, Absher Business, and Absher Government platforms. Additionally, users can interact with more than 500 government and private organizations through the national access portal, “Nafath.”

The digital identity system plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient and secure delivery of digital transformation services and national e-transactions. By providing electronic services that meet the highest quality standards, the Ministry of Interior has greatly strengthened Saudi Arabia’s ranking in the United Nations Digital Services Index.

Through advanced technological solutions, the Ministry aims to streamline processes, enhance user experiences, and increase beneficiary satisfaction, further solidifying Saudi Arabia’s leadership in digital transformation.
