Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa shares her personal story and national vision at the “Inspiring Success Story” event in Manama.

Across the region, stories of resilience, mentorship, and purpose-driven leadership are helping shape a new generation of changemakers.
The Bahrain Society for Human Capital Management hosted a special event titled “Inspiring Success Story”, featuring a keynote address by Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain. The event aimed to spotlight influential leadership journeys and encourage ongoing dialogue around empowering Bahrain’s future workforce.
During her address, Sheikha Hessa recounted the defining moments of her leadership path, emphasizing the value of early volunteer experiences, overcoming adversity, and remaining steadfast in the belief that Bahraini youth hold great promise. She highlighted how the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa was instrumental in her leadership development, particularly in her role as a member of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).
Sheikha Hessa also reflected on the founding and growth of INJAZ Bahrain, which has evolved into a national platform dedicated to preparing young Bahrainis for the demands of the modern labor market. She credited the organization’s success to strong collaboration between public and private sector partners, all working toward equipping the next generation with essential skills and knowledge.
Ahmed Al Zayani, President of the Bahrain Society for Human Capital Management, described the event as a significant moment for the organization. He noted the enthusiastic participation as a clear indicator of the growing appetite for events that inspire and cultivate leadership. Al Zayani reaffirmed the Society’s commitment to supporting initiatives that advance the development of Bahrain’s human capital and promote a culture of continuous learning and empowerment.
In 2018, Sheikha Hessa was honored with the CSR Person of the Year Award by the CSR Regional Network, recognizing her over 20 years of dedication to youth empowerment and voluntary initiatives. Under her leadership, INJAZ Bahrain launched numerous entrepreneurial programs across educational levels, positively impacting more than 160,000 students in over 250 schools and universities with the support of 5,000 volunteers.
