The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has announced a $100 million investment to support the digital transformation of Jordan’s Ministry of Health. This initiative aligns with Jordan’s Economic Modernisation Vision 2023-2025 and forms part of a larger, nearly $400 million UAE grant to fund development projects in Jordan.

The initiative also aims to enhance the UAE’s role in global digital transformation and advanced technology. Implemented by Presight, a UAE-based company, in collaboration with the Jordanian Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the project will establish an integrated health information exchange system that will connect healthcare facilities across Jordan to a unified digital platform.

Moreover, the platform aims to enhance the efficiency, accessibility, and reliability of health services in the kingdom.

H.E. Zeina Toukan, Jordan’s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, emphasized the importance of collaboration with organizations like Presight. She noted that the digital transformation project will create a unified health information system and establish a virtual hospital.
