UAE launches digital initiative to streamline private-sector employment for Emiratis
The Work Bundle aims to standardize documentation, ensure pension and social security registration for Emiratis in private-sector roles, and improve digital integration to speed up services.
The UAE has launched a new integrated digital initiative to streamline private-sector employment for Emirati citizens, part of broader efforts to advance Emiratization and reduce government bureaucracy.
The Emirati Work Bundle in the Private Sector, introduced by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) in collaboration with local and federal government partners, offers end-to-end digital services for Emiratis working in the private sector and their employers. The initiative supports national Emiratization objectives and the UAE’s digital transformation agenda under the Zero Government Bureaucracy Program.
MoHRE said the Emirati Work Bundle aims to standardize documentation, ensure pension and social security registration for Emiratis in private-sector jobs, and enhance platform integration to deliver faster services.
The initiative relies on advanced data integration between MoHRE and several government entities, including the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security; the General Pension and Social Security Authority; the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council; the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund; the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi; Emirates Health Services; Dubai Health; and the Digital Dubai Authority.
Khalil Khoori, under-secretary of labor market and Emiratization operations at MoHRE, said the initiative streamlines procedures and reduces employment requirements, covering the full journey from registration on the Nafis platform to private-sector employment and enrollment in pension and social security systems.
Major General Saeed Salem Balhas Al Shamsi, acting director-general at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, said the initiative enhances secure digital services by integrating data across government entities, supporting service efficiency and the Zero Government Bureaucracy program.
Feras Al Ramahi, director-general of the General Pension and Social Security Authority, said the partnership with MoHRE saves time for both Emirati job seekers and employers while enabling faster service delivery through real-time status tracking.
Khalaf Abdullah Rahma Al Hammadi, director-general of the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, said the initiative reflects advanced integration between local and federal entities, supporting early and accurate pension registration and strengthening social protection for Emirati citizens.
