While women are graduating from college at ever-increasing rates, the amount of high-growth companies they start is still low, in addition to a low rate of female leaders in the corporate world. Since 2016, Besma Al Qassar has been mentoring and assisting career women in Kuwait. She founded the Women Mentor Forum to offer innovative women’s leadership programs specially designed for Arab women working in the region’s private sector. She is a regular guest participant at Chatham House’s gender-related events, most significant is the annual flagship event, the International Policy Forum on Gender-Inclusive Growth.
