Inspired by a family member’s experience with breast cancer, entrepreneur Khalid Shaikh decided to utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning to develop a smart screening solution to help predict and detect early cancer signs.
Since its launch in 2019, Shaikh’s venture has partnered with many international institutions to accelerate breast cancer screening using AI. As a self-proclaimed “technocrat,” this is not Shaikh’s first foray into entrepreneurship, having been involved in a few tech startups as an advisor and mentor over the years.
