With decades of experience in media production and philanthropy management, Naila Farouky, after assuming the CEO role for the Arab Foundations Forum, has helped grow the network across the region, with members representing the rich ecosystem of philanthropy, non-profit, civil society, and development actors. Farouky has contributed to academic research and data on the Arab philanthropy sector and serves on the boards of ArteEast (New York), the Resource Alliance (global), and The Family Hub (Egypt). With the Arab region facing multiple challenges, including conflict, climate change, and food shortages, Farouky has been supporting the development of a more professional, responsive, and impactful local philanthropic ecosystem.
