Cisco has launched a Security Cloud, which safely connects users and devices with apps and data. The solution will include prevention, detection, remediation, and response to threats. It’ll adopt a zero-trust approach to continuously verify the identity of users and devices, the device posture, vulnerabilities, and signs that they may be compromised.
This process won’t interrupt the user experience as the checks will take place in the background, with services such as WiFi fingerprint that don’t compromise privacy. Cisco Security Cloud also uses an open shared signals and events framework for swift sharing of data between vendors, making the work of security analysts simpler. The Cisco+Secure Connect Now solution allows users to deploy a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) suite through a cloud-based platform.
Cisco Security Cloud also includes Talos Intel On-Demand, which customizes research according to every organization’s unique threat landscape. Its Secure Firewall 3100 series introduces AI and machine learning to the mix for detecting threats. Users and administrators can manage endpoints streamlined with a unified Secure Client introduced by Cisco for simplification.
