A new report says as much as 63% of firms are incorporating AI into their products and services.

Businesses in Jordan are showing interest in leveraging big data for a deeper understanding of the local and international market, improving customer experience, and using more accurate and analyzed data to make informed decisions.

A report released by the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan outlines that Jordanian information technology (IT) companies are embracing artificial intelligence (AI,) with as much as 63% incorporating AI into their products and services.  

Moreover, the report says that 42% of companies in the country are interested in integrating data analysis tools and techniques into their products. This comes as organizations across Jordan have been emphasizing adopting AI tools, seeking to upscale various departments, says Nidal Bitar, the CEO of the association.    

The report further highlights that 36% of companies have put cybersecurity as a top priority, signifying the awareness of protecting data systems from cyberattacks, explains Bitar. 

He also notes that the study showed that 19% of companies are developing products and services based on the Internet of Things (IoT) in response to the growing market demand for the increased use of fifth-generation networks.
