The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) will host the third edition of their Joint Climate Finance Conference in Hong Kong on September 10, bringing together business leaders, investors and policymakers to explore financing the green transition.

The conference, themed “Driving Transition in a Changing World,” will be a key event of Hong Kong Green Week 2026 and will focus on strengthening climate finance links between Asia and the Middle East.

Established jointly by the DFSA and HKMA, the initiative aims to deepen cooperation between Dubai and Hong Kong as the two financial hubs expand their roles in sustainable and transition finance.

Supported by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and Nasdaq Dubai, this year’s conference will explore partnerships, financing solutions and innovations that could support a viable green transition amid global economic and geopolitical uncertainty.

Discussions will focus on emerging and strategic sectors in Dubai and Hong Kong, as well as how the two financial centers can help mobilize capital for transition projects.

The program will include keynote addresses, fireside chats and panel discussions examining opportunities to turn sustainable finance commitments into tangible investment and business opportunities.

Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of the HKMA, said that collaboration among major sustainable finance hubs can help direct capital toward real-world solutions that support the green transition while creating new investment opportunities.

Mark Steward, Chief Executive of the DFSA, said the conference reflects the growing partnership between the two regulators.

“This conference reflects the strong partnership between the DFSA and the HKMA, providing a valuable platform to exchange perspectives, strengthen cross-border collaboration, and support the continued development of sustainable finance across our regions,” he said.
