Offering a glimpse into what the future of fashion might entail, a digital fashion show powered by artificial intelligence (AI) will take place at the Theatre of Digital Art in Dubai. The Digital Fashion Dubai which promises to be a “multi-sensorial trip that will transport visitors away from traditional fashion” will start on Sunday.

An idea of Russian digital artist Max Goshko-Dankov, the event brings in 22 designers, including Jon Sanchez and Max Arnautov, who has worked on concept ideas for Balenciaga and Yeezy and designed the footwear Justin Bieber wore created from used water bottles.

While Nikita Replyanski will display her human/alien hybrid figures appropriated from the gaming industry, Canadian artist Frank Square will bring his signature all-black, enormous ensembles.

Trainer and designer Robert Quach has created new 3D digital footwear stuffed up to new cushiony proportions to showcase at the event. Fashion designer and digital artist Karen ArtYan will bring his colorful, futuristic looks.

“We are beyond pleased to partner with Max Goshko-Dankov, the creative head behind this project, to demonstrate the future of fashion in combination with AI and explore themes of surrealism, expressionism, and virtual consciousness,” said Daria Proaevich, managing director at ToDA.

Theatre of Digital Art’s Digital Fashion Dubai show is on from November 27 to December 30.
