With AI’s growing popularity in different fields, the UAE has launched a unified AI-powered chatbot for government services called U-Ask. The bot is available on the official portal of the UAE Government.

The generative AI will allow users to access information on the portal related to government services in Arabic and English. From information regarding service requirements to information based on their preferences and direct links for applications can be accessed via the chatbot on the UAE government’s site.

Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and The Future and Chairperson of the Higher Committee for Government Digital Transformation, said that the platform would advance the government’s digital efforts, integrating and coordinating its projects and improving the efficiency of its systems.

Al Roumi added that the committee continues to improve the digital systems of the UAE Government. They are upgrading the necessary infrastructure to streamline services and help people access them smoothly.

Mohamed bin Taliah, Chief of Government Services for the UAE Government, said that the chatbot would be very useful for the citizens to access government services easily and flexibly.
