Design is everywhere, shaping experiences, influencing decisions, and defining how we live. In the Middle East, a new generation of creators is challenging convention, rethinking what is possible, and delivering work as impactful as it is original.

In partnership with Msheireb Properties, Fast Company Middle East is again recognizing the region’s most inventive designers and forward-thinking businesses. Now in its second year, the Innovation in Design Awards celebrates groundbreaking ideas that tackle pressing challenges and redefine how we experience the world.

The awards honor design that goes beyond aesthetics, focusing on projects that are functional, original, sustainable, and impactful. From startups pushing boundaries to established enterprises reshaping industries, the program highlights work that blends purpose with ingenuity to create meaningful change.

With seven diverse categories, including Architecture and Urban Planning, Product and Packaging, Retail and Experiential, Sustainable Design, Technology-Driven Design, Travel and Hospitality, along with special recognition for Emerging and Women Designers, the awards aim to capture the region’s dynamic creativity.

Entries will be evaluated by Fast Company Middle East’s editorial team on functionality, originality, aesthetics, sustainability, and business impact. Winners gain recognition on Fast Company Middle East’s platform, exclusive networking opportunities, and a place among the region’s leading creative forces.

Nominations are open to organizations and designers across the Middle East. The application deadline is August 11, 2025, with an entry fee of $499.
