Parkonic, a smart parking solutions provider in the UAE, has partnered with Salik Company PJSC, Dubai’s toll gate operator, and Dubai Holding to launch the region’s first fully autonomous, AI-powered parking system.

The system will manage over 36,000 on-street and off-street parking spaces across several Dubai communities, supporting the city’s shift toward smart mobility.

Aligned with Dubai’s Smart City 2030 strategy and Future Mobility Vision, the solution allows drivers to park and exit without manual interaction or physical payment.

It offers a fully automated, ticketless, and barrier-free parking experience, powered by Parkonic’s AI software and integrated with Salik’s cashless payment system.

The system features real-time monitoring to help prevent overstays and fines, while its multilingual interface serves residents and international visitors. The initiative is designed to ease traffic congestion, enhance mobility and accessibility, and contribute to the emirate’s Net Zero targets.

Imad Alameddine, CEO of Parkonic, called the collaboration a milestone in Dubai’s urban mobility, highlighting its potential to support future infrastructure for autonomous vehicles and AI-integrated services.

“Together with Salik and Dubai Holding, we’re building a future where parking is seamless, intelligent, and user-centric,” said Alameddine. “This collaboration goes beyond parking—it’s about preparing for autonomous vehicles, AI-driven services, and a fully integrated mobility ecosystem.”

Developed and operated entirely in the UAE, the system sets a new standard for smart urban infrastructure by enabling automated billing and a seamless parking experience from entry to exit.
